More Earth Day Items Added to Build-a-Bearville

We're sure that most of you have noticed a new front page on Buildabearville.com featuring none other than our favorite eco-friendly Bearville character, Greentracks! Having Greentracks up front is to celebearate and make us all more aware of Earth Day 2010, coming up on April 22nd!

Along with the new front page, our members have noticed a few new items in the stores around Bearville. We've already mentioned the bonus Earth Day certificate for completing the Nature Walk, and we can now report there is a new Recycling Logo Hoodie and Denim Peace Skirt in Pawlette's Boutique, and a new Recycling Rug and Recycling Poster in the Bear Stuff Store, all shown above!

Two new Jr. Cybearguide outfits!

Call in at the Jr. Cybearguide Headquarters where two new outfits are now available to buy.

 

It looks like Build-A-Bearville is preparing for the Winter Olympics with a new, pretty blue, sparkling Ice Skating dress and a Jr. Cybearguide Hockey Uniform , complete with hat and hockey stick!

Two New Monkeys In Build-a-Bearville!

Cubgratulations to Tamster from our Bearville Insider Forum for being the first BI member to adopt the newly-added Dark Brown Monkey in Build-a-Bearville! As you can see from the photos, the monkey is a new addition to the open certificate selections.  Tamster adopted Nanners this afternoon, whose FFI (Furry Friend Item) is the "Monkey Move" and whose FFW (Furry Friend Wallpaper) is a repeating pattern of vines.

 

A light brown monkey was also added and GabriellaBallerina provided us pictures of the monkey and its FFI (Furry Friend Item), a Monkey Ear Headband!

BI Member Discovers Unreleased Furry Friends, Items! *UPDATED*

Thanks to Bearville Insider member disneymom5 for providing us with this beariffic picture of another user in Build-a-Bearvile! She noticed the White Bunny Ears with Colorful Flowers on her head and the Flowery Bunny in her backpack and decided to check her inventory. She found another item that she couldn't identify, a Fishing Hat.

 

Here's her story about what happened when she asked about the bunny ears. I wonder when we'll see the new bunny at Build-a-Bear Workshop!

The girl told me that it is a test bunny and when I called the test store closest to me (3 hours) they didn't have it but said it will be available early next year.  Maybe they'll have season bunnies instead of bears??? The fishing hat is a mystery to me too, I was hoping you could help.  I did write to BABW and am awaiting their response. 

 

Floral Bunny FFIUPDATE: Thanks to AmyKnight8 from our Bearville Insider Forum, the mystery of the bunny has been solved! She was the first member of our site to adopt the Blossom Bunny in Build-a-Bearville. The Blossom Bunny comes with Blossom Bunny Ears and Blossom Glasses, which are both shown on the right!

Elf's Assistant Program

It is the Elf's Assistant Program that is going on starting Nov1st through the holidays. When you go into a BABW you get a card that you swipe at different stations that is set up inside the BABW and you do what the card tells you to do, (pick out your elf name etc.) and the card has a code on it for your Buildabearville Elf outfit. Cool isn't it.
