Thanks to chantellefurshion for spotting a new addition to buildabear.com -- the Derek Jeter bear! The 16-inch bear costs $25 and has Jeter's signature on a baseball on one foot and his Yankees jersey on the other foot.

We're currently unsure what the FFI is for the bear in BABV as no one has seen it added as a test animal, but we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we find out. You can check out the bear and buy it on Build-a-Bear.Com -- Derek Jeter Bear.

The newest version of Beary Newsworthy magazine (available in Build A Bear stores) has lots of great information about upcoming events and new items in Bearville.  The first exciting thing is that new Limited Edition Zoorrific animals will be available on May 28th!  The collection includes a monkey, cheetah, panda, flamingo, tiger, parrot and giraffe.  It also notes there will be exclusive access to the Bearville zoo when you purchase one of the new animals from May 28th - June 30th.  Maybe that means everyone else will get access after that....we'll just have to wait and see!

Also, in store from May 28th through June 30th, everyone will have a chance to enter a contest to win a Zoorrific trip to Orlando.  The prize is a 5 day, 4 night stay in Orlando with tickets to theme parks AND all seven Zoorrific animals!  And from June 4-13, everyone who spends more than $20 in store will receive a free bag for your animal and a free animal print bag in Bearville!

A new game is hopefully coming soon to BABV!!

A new game was previewed today on BABV - and a few of us got to play it before it was pulled! It was a new two person bowling game!!  But it WASN'T on the games list.  In order to have played it, you must have invited a person to the game (it is the last game listed on the game list).  

For a brief time today - this was playable by all!!

 You went online with your friends, get into the same room.  Clicked on their names on your friends list (or the name of another person in the same room as you), click to Invite to Game, then click bowling! Hopefully soon, we can have bowling parties! Thank you to lillybearathlete1 for the info!

There's no purchase necessary to get the free crown, and you also receive a free virtual crown for your Build-a-Bearville online character -- so don't forget to head to your local mall over the next few weeks! We're not sure if this is limited to US-only locations, so those of you who live outside the US are going to have to let us know.

In addition, also thanks to PrincessOctober103, Build-a-Bear Workshops are giving out a $10 off $30 coupon flyer in-store. She also let us know that the $10 off $30 coupon was stackable with other coupons at her local store, although this may not be the case in every store. Not a bad deal for all of you who must have the Enchanted Dragon and Enchanted Pony!
