Bearville Times

The newest Bearville Times hit news stands last week on May 12th and there were a few important announcements within it. First, the new Paws Fur Nature issue also came out, so give it a read and take the quiz at the end. It's all about the tropics and you get a free Palm Tree if you answer the quiz questions correctly at the end.

The most important news in the issue, though, comes later. There's a new Zoo coming to Build-a-Bearville! Check out the image for a preview!!

The new Bearville Times has hit news stands all over Build-a-Bearville, and most of you already know much of what's in there. As you've all already noticed, the dragon shadow occasionally flies over your Bearville Map! Build-a-Bear Workshop is now running a promotion for double Bearville Outfitters Credits with all purchases in the month of April!

We hope all of you logged into Bearville yesterday on April Fool's and got the Giggle Emoticon from Bearemy. Make sure that you log in and complete Pawlette Coufur's Chocolate Bunny quest, because it is ending on April 4th! Also, don't forget to log in on April 4th, Easter Sunday, to get an Easter Egg Statue from Bearemy!

As we've shown you in the past, Bearville is giving prizes out when you read all the way through selected Bearville Times issues. Unfortunately, this week, there is no prize, but we've already seen a free newspaper bag and free press hat for issues in the past! Finally, we have a famous member of Bearville Insider -- CallyTouchdown was featured in the Bearville Times with her Parrot Furry Friend!

As we expected back in February, it looks like Build-a-Bearville is giving out free items once a month for those who read the Bearville Times all the way through! The March 24th issue out right now gives you a free "Press" Hat if you read it all the way through to the very last page. Don't miss out, because once the issue is gone, you won't be able to get the hat again.

Keep an eye on the Bearville Times moving forward, as we may start seeing other secrets for clicking on certain items, like the Club Penguin Catalogs!

The new Bearville Times arrived in Build-a-Bearville yesterday and is promoting the new Beary O' Lucky Bear and the "Luck O' the Bearish" contest running in Bearville right now to become a Bearville millionaire! Make sure to pick up a free game card at your local Build-a-Bear Workshop. You can win 1 of the following 4 prizes: Throwing Coins Move, Lucky Outfit, Luck O' The Bearish Emoticon, or 1 Million BBs. The codes are set to expire on March 4th!

As we told you on Wednesday, Jr. CybearGuide members will be able to enter the new mall in Marketplace on Wednesday, February 24th -- a full 10 days earlier than everyone else!

We also want to remind you all to watch the Chloe Show with Keke Palmer before February 25th, you don't want to miss out on the free Keke Move!

Finally, we want to thank ZoeYouRock and Abbieteddytunes09 for pointing out a specific page in the Bearville Times containing encouragement for users to organize "awareness walks".  She pointed out that both of the pictures on the page are from walks organized by Bearville Insider! We believe that the first image is from our Cancer Awareness Walk on November 2, 2008, shown below, which earned a surprise visit from Maxine! The second image, based on the outfits, was from our September 27th Children's Cancer Awareness Walk.

We're sure there are tons of you in the images in the Bearville Times, but we circled two BI members that you can see very clearly -- LindaFriendly in the top image and our beloved founder, FreyaFullOfHugs, in the bottom image!

There's a new Bearville Times in Build-a-Bearville, containing more information and previews of the upcoming Valentine's Dance. The Valentine's Dance is only going to be running for 2 days, from February 12th to February 14th -- be there or be square!!

Most of the information contained in it, we've already told you about: new heart-shaped room, the Valentine's Day furniture and Keke Palmer's upcoming guest spot on the Chloe Show. However, looking near the end, we've found that one of our Bearville Insider forum members has had his new hear-shaped room featured in the issue! Congratulations to BlakelyScorpio!!!
