BABV Zoo Preview -- Arriving in Bearville on May 28th!

As you all know, a Zoo is coming soon to Build-a-Bearville. We've seen references to it in the most recent Bearville Times and, thanks to a few of our members, AbbygailBearDiva59 and MeganJump4Joy, we have a preview of the Zoo and the official launch date -- May 28th -- one week from today!

If you look on the left hand side on the map of Sandy Bear Island, you can see the Zoo, though it is currently not accessible to visit. According to ChloeRocks' Bearmail this week, you will need to buy a new Furry Friend and register it on BABV between May 28th and July 1st in order to be able to access the zoo, so please keep this in mind if you can't access it when it opens!

 

Looks like its going to be a really fun place to visit, any guesses on what types of activities it'll have?

New Party Rooms in Build-a-Bearville!

Thanks to Hannahg98 from our Bearville Forum for spotting the following when visiting her party dance room -- Build-a-Bear appears to be adding a Castle Room and Outer Space room as the new party rooms in Build-a-Bearville!

Maxine's May Gift -- Ukelele Move!

New Items Coming to Build A Bear Stores and Bearville!

The newest version of Beary Newsworthy magazine (available in Build A Bear stores) has lots of great information about upcoming events and new items in Bearville.  The first exciting thing is that new Limited Edition Zoorrific animals will be available on May 28th!  The collection includes a monkey, cheetah, panda, flamingo, tiger, parrot and giraffe.  It also notes there will be exclusive access to the Bearville zoo when you purchase one of the new animals from May 28th - June 30th.  Maybe that means everyone else will get access after that....we'll just have to wait and see!

 

Also, in store from May 28th through June 30th, everyone will have a chance to enter a contest to win a Zoorrific trip to Orlando.  The prize is a 5 day, 4 night stay in Orlando with tickets to theme parks AND all seven Zoorrific animals!  And from June 4-13, everyone who spends more than $20 in store will receive a free bag for your animal and a free animal print bag in Bearville!

Build-a-Story "Mad Libs" in BABV!

Yet another new feature was introduced to Build-a-Bearville yesterday in the enchanted update!

 

Thanks to HannahMontanabiggestfan for letting us know about the "Build-a-Story Fun" feature that was added to the Libeary in BABV!

 

 

As you can see from ZoeyCuddles2474's images, you are able to choose various verbs, adjectives and nouns to fill in the story so it is told how you want it to be!


Enchanted Update Has Arrived in Bearville!

Thanks to JaydenSaphire1 & Zoeycuddles2474 for the wonderful pictures show below of the newest additions to Build-a-Bearville. Build-a-Bear surely has pulled out all the stops with this most-recent update to Bearville, bringing the new Enchanted areas and Enchanted Pony / Enchanted Dragon to Bearville. Remember, both the Enchanted Dragon and Enchanted Pony are available starting today, April 5th at your local Build-a-Bear Workshop or on buildabear.com!

 

We'll start out with a few overview articles to cover all the new stuff before going in-depth on all the new features! First of all, there is a new Castle House and Throne Bedroom available for your Cub Condos, along with a couple of new games -- Dragon Care and a "Spot the Difference" game!

 

Also a very cool new feature in Build-a-Bearville is the ability to go "back in time", where you can see a whole new side of Build-a-Bearville! Here's a view of the map one you go back in time!!

 

Make sure you get your hands on all the wonderful new items also available at the Jr Cybear HQ, the BVO and the Bearstuff store as well as the quest to save the dragon. There's just so much new stuff going on today, you have to go and check it out!

Cool Effect When Mounting Enchanted Pony!

We know how excited everyone is about the new Enchanted Pony in Build-a-Bearville, so we thought we'd show you pictures from our forum from PrincessOctober103 of what happens when you mount the Pony. When you choose to ride the pony or get off of the pony, there are a series of flashes and sparkles all around you, as if you have become Enchanted yourself!

The Enchanted Pony and Enchanted Dragon will arrive at Build-a-Bear Workshop on April 5, 2010, so get ready to see tons of people riding around Bearville on Ponies and with Dragon Wings!

More Hints at Dragons and Enchanted / Magical Theme in Bearville!

Thanks to krissyangel from our forums for the following screenshot of the Bearville map! She noticed a shadow move across the map, which scared her at first... She brought up the map a few more times and took a good look at the giant shadow moving across the map -- it was a flying dragon!!

 

Thanks to her keen eyes and quick screenshot abilities, we can show you the giant shadow that she sees in her account. Check yours too! It looks like BABV is really ramping up our excitement for the new areas and Enchanted Furry Friends from Build-a-Bear!

For all you baseball lovers, a new furry friend has been found!!

For all you baseball lovers, look at what has been found!  A new Furry Friend called Mr. Baseball and his FFI is called a Mr. Baseball sign!  It's a baseball scoreboard!!  It is Pawsome!  I'm still not sure how you can get him.   This person said they got him with an open certificate!   

Pony Ride also just spotted in Build-a-Bearville!!

As we told you earlier, the FFI for the Enchanted Dragon -- Dragon Wings -- were spotted in Build-a-Bearville. Thanks to ZoeYouRock from our Bearville Forum for spotting and confirming that the FFI for the Enchanted Pony is, in fact, a ridable Pony in Build-a-Bearville.
