On the treble cleff, the right hand, this might help you.
The lines going up is EGBDF or, Every Good Boy Does Fine. The spaces going up spell FACE. I'm able to read the notes. I'm memorizing the ledger lines. Those are tough.
I just recently started understanding major and minor. Major typically sounds happy, while minor sounds depressing. I still have lots to learn. I think every pianist has lots to learn, no matter how far along they are.

I can play quite the variety. I prefer the slower songs, like the romantic and classical songs. Helpful hint: The slower songs give you more time to read the notes and position your fingers. I can play a few songs out of the hymn book at church, but those take me MONTHS of practice. I'm not good at the jazz and "boogie" stuff. Oy, that's hard. I can't "feel it".
Have you figured out what kind of songs you like to play yet?
