That's awesome! Best of luck!! I'm happy if I was able to help in any way. It is so crazy how time flies, I found this place almost 11 years ago! Like everything in my life has changed but this site is still here and I'm still on here. It's wild.

Let me know how everything goes or if you have any more questions

In terms of what they ask for in the online applications, just stuff like
-how long have you taken lessons
-do you play any other instruments
-have you sung in any ensembles or done any solo stuff
-do you have any certification (I don't know how it works in the U.S. but here there's a national program called Royal Conservatory of Music where you can take instrumental and theory exams, and you get a certificate for every level of exams you complete. They like applicants here to be at RCM Level 8, but if you haven't done the exams but you can still perform well then it's fine)
-they'll probably ask something like why do you want to study music/why do you want to come to this university specifically/what are your career goals etc.

I feel like the audition requirements might be different between Canada and the U.S., but for most schools here you to submit an online application talking about your music experience ahead of time and then go for an in-person audition later in the year. All of the in-person auditions I did consisted of having to sing 3 or 4 classical style pieces, and then doing some ear tests (such as identifying intervals and major or minor chords). Some schools had a written theory test as well. My only experience when I applied was 4 years of voice lessons and 6 years of choir, I had never had any solo roles. I think theater roles definitely count as experience though! And I don't think it's too late to look into community opera programs, there are quite a few people who don't start until high school and you've already had voice lessons so you'll be fine!
