Guide to Linux, the Gimp, Editing and making Screenshots.
Hi all of you Linux users! Yes I know, Linux can be hard to deal with, believe me, I know! But, I don't get viruses so I am happy because of that. Many people tend to think that people who don't have Windows can't edit or take screen shots because they don't have Windows Paint. Thankfully, I found a place where we can.
Its called the Gimp. Many may laugh at this odd name, but its a fun tool to play around and edit for fun. But, if you open the Gimp and have no idea whatsoever, it can be extremely tricky and will take you hours and maybe even days. I am still learning some new features.

Helpful Hint:
If you want to scan something, such as a drawing or something, and you HAVE a scanner, the Gimp is a great way to scan. If you need help, PM me. I won't make a guide because no one has requested it.

Ok, so you have Linux, and you just saw a cool new glitch or feature in BABV. You want to take a screen shot. Say you want to take a picture in your cat outfit. Go to the tab or other window where Build a Bear is.
At the right timing, you are going to press this key on your keyboard.
It is called PrintScreenSysRq.

This is going to pop up, or something somewhat like it.
See the Name option? Type in what you want the file name to be, like I want to name this file "Guide."
Make sure you erase the default title that says ScreenShot in the Name Box.

Save it like this ABC.jpg If you just write in a title, and it comes up saying "invalid File type" You are NOT entering the .jpg or the .png. or the .jpeg. Any of these will work, But I like .jpg.
Don't worry if you personal Desktop shows because you will be able to edit out that stuff later.

Now open the Gimp. It should look like this.

Go to Open.

I have edited out personal info, from this next picture. Scroll through and find your saved screenshot.

Open it. It will look like this.

Then go to View, and go to Zoom In.
Then it will open another part, But I can't take pictures of that.. I don't why.. Only zoom in once, for the best quality.

Now you want to crop your image. I don't need to take a picture of this because its self-explanatory, I hope.
Go to the image and press "Shift" and "C". On the Gimp, or picture, your cursor should have changed to something that looks like this.

Then you can Crop the image by dragging your mouse over the picture. When you have found the right size for you, click Crop Image.
You can then save the picture. If you need help painting over the picture or any other problems with the Gimp, you can PM me.

Hope this helped! Thanks for reading.

Another Idea
Ok I know what you do if nothing pops up.
First press the Print Screen Button.
Open up paint.
Click Edit then Paste.
Edit the picture.
For High Quality On the picture, save the picture, open up 'My Pictures', Double-click the picture and something should pop up that says window picture editor?
Click edit pictures on the right top.
Click 'Crop Image' .
When you're done, click save, or exit and save.

Hope this helps!
