How to make good posts to become a Trading Teddy
How To Make Good Posts, To Become A Trading Teddy - Does your Application keep getting rejected?

Well here are tips on how to do the 100 + posts that you need.

( ** You must be a member of BI for 1 month before starting this.)

........Posts in the following areas do not count toward your 100.....

# 1...Contest Section.
# 2...Avatar and Siggy Shops
# 3...Role Plays
#4...DCT posts
#5...Pawty Time
#6..Team Play
#7.. Polls

( NOTE..Threads don't count, only posts.)

DON'T.....Copy and Paste responses.

DON'T......Make *fluff* posts.

Here are some examples of FLUFF posts....

LOL. Gee that's funny.
I don't know.
I agree.

Please use full sentences or nice paragraphs when posting. Avoid abbreviations or *text speak.*

# 1...Welcome new members with a cheery hello. Tell them to read the FAQ and where it's located. (only a few of these will count).

# 2...Congratulate. Find members who got a new BAB. (only a few of these will count).

# 3...Be Helpful. Look around the Forum for people needing help.

# 4...Be Supportive....If a member has lost items in BearVille, is having problems logging on or with glitches, tell them you're sorry the problem has been happening to them, offer a tip or suggestion that worked for you.

# 5...Join in on conversations....Go to Genl Disc/Chat and find conversations you can contribute to.
* please note, DCT posts are not applicable

ABOVE ALL..... Never, ever be rude to anyone. Talk to people exactly the way you would want someone to talk to you.

We want you to be an active member of BI....Posting allows people to get to know you....this is how friendships are formed here..the rewards are endless.

Good luck everyone!

** Please Note.....This thread tells you *how* to make good posts, to become a Trading Teddy, it is NOT the thread on which you apply to become one!

[ thank you Gingerly from WebkinzInsider for putting this together]

To give you an idea of what we look at when we go through the applications:

If you haven't posted on the forum in weeks, your application will probably be declined. So once you reach 100 posts, don't stop being helpful ;)

If you have broken a rule within the past 30 days, your application will probably be denied. There are a lot of rules in the Trading Den, to keep trading safe and fair for all members. If you can't show us a willingness to follow the main forum rules, we aren't prepared to give you the added responsibilities of the Trading Den.

If you have more than one account, or had more than one within the past 60 days, your application will probably be denied.

We review each and every one of your posts when you apply. If you are kind and helpful around the forum, your application will probably be approved. If you fight, break rules, or are rude, your application will probably be denied.
