Wink PHOTOSHOP; Icon tutorial

1. Get your image ready. ;]

2. Click the crop tool and crop the part you would like in the icon.
Click the image to open in full size.

3. Re-size your image to 100x100.
Click the image to open in full size.

4. Duplicate your layer, then on the top layer change the setting from normal to screen.
Click the image to open in full size.

5. Go to Image > Adjustments Curves, and have your settings similar to this.
Click the image to open in full size.

6. Add any more settings you may want.

7. Go to Layers > Flatten Imagfe and save as .PNG.

8. Your done! ;]

Thanks, helpful to newer Photoshop users!

You might try 'merge visible' instead of 'flatten image.'

Flatten image adds an uneccesary background color that results in a higher file size. For avatars on BI, the smaller, the better.
