How do you make your bear get out of your backpack?

How do you make your bear get out of your backpack? I have seen many people with their bears outside of their backpack. How do I let my bear get out? Thanks if you do!

Go into your inventory & next to the close above the trash can there is a sign with arrows that will swap the bear to your side when you're out & about in BABV. x]

That's weird cause I haven't been on in a while, and when I got on a second ago, my bear was beside me and I didn;t do that.

If you are not A JRCybearguide, then I don't think you are allowed to make your bear walk around. But if you are, then what Cutie411 said is right. d:

Go to your inventory and click on the little icon with the bear and the two arrow signs.
