Well, it's probably since there are two dollar bills (or were) and in other countries they might have them. Like little Canadian children (xD) might believe there's a one dollar bill there, so it's the same I guess(:

No they don't make $2 bills anymore. They used to but they stopped, that's how some people have $2 bills. Some banks even have some still, you might be able to ask them. ;]
It bothers me too though.

Actually to correct all of you guys they still make $2 bills. They were retired from circulation in 1966 but brought back in 1976. They are still made just rarely in use and circulation. You can get them by special request at the banks

Feel free to educate yourself and research the $2 bill

to quote Wikipedia

"Today, there is a common misconception that the $2 bill is no longer in circulation. According to the Treasury, they "receive many letters asking why the $2 bill is no longer in circulation". In response, the Treasury states: "The $2 bill remains one of our circulating currency denominations. According to B.E.P. statistics, 590,720,000 Series 1976 $2 bills were printed and as of February 28, 1999, $1,166,091,458 worth of $2 bills were in circulation worldwide.""
