Default { How to save a high quality screen shot/picture on Paint }

{ How to save a high quality picture on Paint }

Screen shots aren't always high quality only on Photoshop or Gimp. Your HQ pictures can be saved on Paint, too. Don't settle for blurry, pixelated pictures.

Step 1
Open up Paint and paste your picture into paint. I took a Print Screen on BABV and pasted it onto Paint.

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 2
Press the Selection Button.
It should look like this:
Click the image to open in full size.

Select the part of your picture that you want.

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 3
Move your selected area to the top left corner.

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 4
Now it's time to crop out everything you don't want!
At the very bottom right corner of the picture,
you should see a small blue box about the size of 2 pixels.

Click the image to open in full size.

Drag the blue box to the corner of the picture you want,
cropping everything you don't want. Once your done with that,
it should look like this:

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 5
Good job! Now it's time to save the picture. Read this! This is the
IMPORTANT part!

Go to the top left corner and click File > Save

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 6
Find the area you'd like to save it at. I'm saving it to my desk top.

Click the image to open in full size.

Don't press the save button yet!

Step 6
Name the picture.

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 7
Now go to 'Save as Type' and on the drop down menu,
look for .PNG and click that.

Click the image to open in full size.

IMPORTANT:
Click the image to open in full size.
For most computers, putting .PNG at the end of your file name WON'T make a difference. You must actually click .PNG at 'Save as Type'. Typing .PNG at the end, like I said, will not actually save it as a .PNG (on Paint).

Step 7
Save it! Press the save button and you're done!
Click the image to open in full size.

RESULT:
Your picture should look like this:
Click the image to open in full size.
High quality, no pixelated-ness (xD), and clear!

If you followed this guide, it will mostly likely NOT look like this:
Click the image to open in full size.
Pixelated, yucky looking, and not clear.
Can't tell the difference? Look at my hat in both pictures.
On the HQ picture it's bright and easy to see,
on the other it's dark and blurry.
