Default Should I apply to be a mod?

Hey gang, this section looks a little... uh... it's seen better days. How about a brand new poll to spice things up?

Call me crazy, but I'm considering applying to be a moderator. I know this place isn't exactly Facebook in terms of popularity, but a few people still remain. I don't know how active the staff are anymore, which, if they're as absent as so many other people I had once known on here, leaves this place wide open to troublemakers. I don't want those people wreakin' their havoc on mah forum while all these innacent people feel helpless. *Fiddles with cowgirl hat*

I think I'd be a good mod because I seem to have a highly acute trouble censor and a low tolerance for nonsense. If something ain't right, you're gonna hear about it and suffer the appropriate consequences from me. If my little brother has taught me anything over the years, it's assertiveness. And I'll see if I can do anything about that doggone banner.

That being said, I do have reason to believe they might turn me down. The requirements say no warnings or infractions, but my past here isn't squeaky clean. I posted a "reminder thread" or something a couple forevers ago, and most drastically, way back in 2013, I had once posted something in the MLP club that had a Twitter link in it I didn't notice. The whole club got shut down. But I figure there's no harm in applying, and if they're desperate enough they just might let me slide. It was well over four, closer to five years ago. Idk, whatever.

(P.S. If anyone reading this was in the MLP club, I'm awfully sorry about that. Now that I remember what happened I still feel kinda bad about it. It really was an accident. Forgive me?)
