These yummy chocolate nests are perfect for any time of the year.
In fact, you'll want to eat them every day of the year!
~~~
You will need
Microwave/A bain-marie (your mum should know what this is)
Bowl
Spoon
Cupcake cases
Cupcake case tin
Ingredients
A couple of bars of chocolate (of your choice)
Marshmallows (cut up)
Coco pops or cereal of your choice
Any decorations you'd like - optional
~~~
Method
1. Melt the chocolate either using a bain-marie or in the microwave. Remember to break the chocolate into squares or small pieces as this helps the melting process.
Check every minute to see if the chocolate is done and remember to stir. Don't leave it in for too long or the chocolate goes horrible and hard.
2. Stir the chocolate and quickly pour in the cereal and the cut up marshmallows before the mixture hardens.
3. Put the cupcake cases on the cupcake case holder and add the mixture to each of the cupcake cases. This is the time to put on any decorations too. Do this quickly so the mixture doesn't harden!
4. Put the nests in the fridge for about 20 mins.
5. Ta-dah! Your yummy chocolate marshmallow nests are ready!
Time to devour them! (:
I added mini eggs for a special Easter treat!
