Spent years with a song stuck in my head and I just found out today that it is, of all things, Crocodile Rock

I had to call Tech Support because of an issue with my school laptop and they asked me to insert the Disk of Doom™ and as soon as I ejected it the laptop bluescreened nd my mom and I found it more funny than anything
So long story short I'm on hold because my tech support guy is trying to fill out an order form to get me a new laptop because I told him that bluescreening is a recurring issue

It took three years but I've finally fully accepted Bearville's closing. (Not sure when, specifically. But three years.)

Bearvillle was a Flash game. Flash is dying. It never would have lasted; it was costing money to maintain. And if the Undercover Boss episode is to be believed, Build-a-Bear was losing money while it was running. The easiest solution to get money back... close the game. It would have happened anyway. It was inevitable.

I'm still not happy with how they handled it. I'm still mad they lied to us, they blamed us, they replaced it with cheesy games with cheesy graphics as if that could make up for it. But I've at least accepted what hapened.

i am glad for you. i am still wondering what can be saved.

Hi penguin pals,

We’re SO excited to send the Club Penguin franchise off in style. With 13 years of history to dig into, we just had to bring some classic content to the new island.

For your gaming enjoyment, we introduce to you… THE CLUB PENGUIN ARCADE! In November’s Waddle On update, you’ll have FULL ACCESS to six Club Penguin mini-games, and they’ll even award you coins for playing.

not sending bearville off in style is still unacceptable to me. intercontinental moving, neighborhood being flooded out and abandoned and even a store replacing another neighborhood did not compare to the poorly handled end of bearville. still need the safe place. worlize allows some of the feels, but the groups on it often are not friendly.
and babw was turned around and profitable before bearville was closed.
not such a drain on finances, just the best of people acting for the good of the community.
