I do remember that bear but if I recall it wasn't sold at Macy's but at JC Penney. It was called Huggy Bear and it was sold in 2007. 100% of the proceeds went towards the JCPenney Afterschool Fund to benefit Children in Need. They also had a monkey called Mocha Monkey. Here are pics.
