Default Replace batteries in sound box?

Sorry if this question has already been asked. I used the search feature but couldn't find an answer.

The soundbox in one of my build a bears has stopped working. If I take my bear into BABW can the batteries be replaced? It's a sound that is no longer made so I can't just buy a new one. Also, if this can be done, is it free? Or do I have to pay for the batteries? Thanks a ton for your help!

I'm pretty sure it's free, since like if you bring your bear there because it ripped or something it's free, I doubt BABW will make you pay.(:

I just opened up my bear (lol) and took the sound out. My dad opened it and one of the batteries was corroded. He cleaned it up, so hopefully new batteries will fix it

As much as i want to answer this for you, i don't have the exact information regarding issue. You might have to go to a Build-A-Bear Workshop about this. You could ask advice from our Bear Representatives about this too, just in case there is a solution to your issue without you going to the store. You may reach them through email: Guest.Services@buildabear.com or through phone: 1-877-789-BEAR (2327).

My cousin took hers in and they gave her a new sound to put in, she made a purchase that day so idk if thats why it was free but i would think it would be :]]
