Hey I have 2 questions about gimp.


How do I make something transparent?

How do I make fading text/hearts ?

Okay, here's a mini guide.

1 - Save a blank picture.
2 - Add a heart.
3 - Go to lunapic.com
4 - Upload the 1st picture.
5 - There is a button that says add more files. Click it
6 - Click Animation >> Anim - Dissolve Frames.

well for the transparent part i think you have to just save it as a .png.

The second one I use photoshop for mine..
I'm not sure how GIMP makes the fading animations :/.


[EDIT] In the guide HBL123 posted look at step ten.
