A few more discoveries were made by our forum users this morning! BriannaBallet6 noticed a new sign and that some more construction had been completed on the new store in the market place! We now know that the new store is officially called "Store Fur All Seasons"!
Another user in our forum, hayegirl12, discovered where the entrance for the new train station is going to be. The train station is going to be a way for our characters to travel to the North Pole in Build-a-Bearville! The entrance that she discovered is in Bear University, on the left side of the screen, shown below.
The construction area magically appears and glows if you put your mouse in the area, and clicking on it tells you that the train is coming soon!
Thanks to Hannah73
in our Build-a-Bearville forum
for reminding us all that the second webisode installment of Hal & Holly’s Uplifting Christmas Adventure
is now available for Bearvillians to watch! Head to the theater in the Furbulous Fashion District and enjoy the new episode.
The name of the webisode is "The Road North", and it looks like the webisode for next, week, November 20th, is called "Christmas Canceled?".
Also, a reminder, please be courteous to your fellow Bearville citizens.
Treat it like a real movie and don’t stand in front of the screen, doing the upside-down move over and over again while people are trying to watch. I saw some people acting this way this morning and I just wanted to make sure that users from BI would be good citizens and will have a seat and watch the movie!
Bearville Insider member Kitten1462
had posted an interesting theory about the Paws for Nature magazine: For every Paws Fur Nature magazine they make, they make that Buildabear! Kitten1462
summarized in our Bearville Insider Forum that the first magazine featured a Zebra, the second publication featured a Tiger and the third featured a Penguin. Each new Paws Fur Nature magazine did indeed coincide with the launch of new Zebra, Tiger and Penguin buildabears! As mentioned in Justin
‘s October article Starlayodelbear
posted a tip about that month’s launch of the Chilly Cheeks Penguin.
We’ve all been waiting to see what this month’s Paws Fur Nature magazine would feature! It looks like Kitten1462′s theory holds true, the November Paws Fur Nature magazine features a Moose to coincide with the launch of Hal and Holly Moose!!
Thanks to Bearville Insider member leanneluckybear8
, we learned that the new Paws Fur Nature magazine is out today and is all about the moose and, by passing the quiz at the end, you get a Moose Crossing sign!
Here’s a picture of the moose crossing sign in front of my Cub Condo! It’s perfect for the Holly Moose I just added to my account, now she can cross the street without worrying!
As many of you may recall, last week the owners of BI awarded 17 members exclusive party invites. The members were divided into groups and scheduled into various parties over the course of the week, which were also attended by me, Justin and Freya. The first two parties were held last night. We thought you’d enjoy seeing a few photos of the action!
Stay tuned for future contests here on BearvilleInsider. Also, BuildABear Workshop is now selling the Turkey for only $12! This is a great bargain for those of you looking to pick one up before the Thanksgiving holiday.
In the past month, since we changed our design here at Bearville Insider, we’ve received a great deal of feedback. Most of it was very positive, but some users requested a color scheme that would be less bright. Others wanted a theme that would fit for winter. I’ve combined both of those requests into our new "Ice" skin here at BearvilleInsider.Com!
At the bottom-left of any page, just select "Bearville Insider Ice" to use the new skin!
You can switch back and forth at any time, depending on your mood. There will be more color schemes to come, but this new set up marks the end-of-life for the original "applied" theme from Buildabearvilleblog, which can no longer be used.
The second-to-last "8th of the month" hidden gift has been found and identified!
For those new to Build-a-Bearville, Build-a-Bear has been hiding an item on every 8th of the month in Bearville for just one day to celebrate 2008. This month’s item is only available today and is the Potted Poppy Plant. Make sure that you log in today and claim your gift, as it won’t be available tomorrow!
If you are having trouble finding the location of the gift, read the rest of the article for a description and picture of the location.
The Poppy Plant’s location is disguised at itself in the Recycling Center. Just click on the Poppy Plant shown below circled in blue and you’ll get your free gift! Thanks to chibikay for finding it first!
As previously stated, tonight we are announcing the 17 winners of invitations to an exclusive BearvilleInsider party in BuildABearville at my Cub Condo. The party will also be attended by Freya and Justin. Here are the lucky folks that were randomly drawn from all active members:
CONGRATULATIONS to our winners!!! Please check your messages tomorrow for more details! And get ready to PAR-TAY!
One of our very own staff members from our BearvilleInsider.Com Forums, momma501, was the first member to activate and post pictures of the newest Furry Friends: Hal & Holly Moose!
You can see both Hal & Holly in her avatar’s backpacks! The girl is wearing Holly’s PSI, which is two pieces, the Holly Moose Bow and the Holly Moose Collar. The boy is wearing Hal’s PSI, Moose Antlers, which flash different-colored lights.
Also, with Holly, you get Holly-patterned wallpaper along with the two-piece PSI, even though it doesn’t show when you get the cubgratulations dialog.
With Hal, you get Christmas light-patterned wallpaper, along with the PSI.
Here they are both in their rooms with the wallpaper on the walls!
Cubgratulations to momma501 on her newest Furry Friends! They’re both beary cute and I can’t want to see more of them in Build-a-Bearville!
Along with Maxine’s interview on The Chloe Show, the first web episode of Hal & Holly Moose’s Uplifting Christmas Adventure is now available for viewing in the Theater in Bearville. For those of you who are new to Build-a-Bearville, the Theater is located in the Furbulous Fashion District.
Here’s a picture of part of the 2 minute episode, for those of you who are stuck at school or work, and can’t play in Build-a-Bearville!
When you get to the theater, just click on it and the following window will pop up. It might be a bit confusing, but the new episode is the second one, highlighted in white in the picture below.
It may be grayed-out, like the preview selection in the image. Just wait until the current showing is over and it will let you click on the episode and let you in to the theater. Then, just take a seat!
I watched the movie with a couple of friends from BI who found me just before the movie started. It was really a great episode, I plan to watch it a few more times and it was really fun using emoticons to laugh and celebrate the funny parts and cry in the sad parts! Thanks for the fun, everyone!
