Bearville Insider Cheats

When you first sign up to Build-A-Bearville.com you will automatically be able to make friends and participate in trades! If you would like to get familiar with the site and avoid trading until you are comfortable, instructions follow:

1. Click your PDA
2. Select Options (the picture that looks like gears)
3. Select Block trades

You can also Block Whispers on this page to avoid distractions while playing a game.

When you are ready to trade, Unblock trades and have fun. Be mindful of those that may attempt to take advantage of new traders by “scamming.”  A Trading Post is set up at our board at http://buildabearvilleblog.com/forums for the purpose of discussing trades before performing the actual trade in Bearville.

• Even though you can only put $1000 in the trade — if the person you are trading with clicks Accept multiple times, really fast — it multiplies the number of clicks times the bear bills offered! If you put $1000 in the bear bills slot and they click accept three times before it registers that they’ve clicked Accept — it will give them $3000!

• Don’t be distracted by ‘chatting’ during a trade.

• Be mindful of all items and bear bills added in a trade, delete what was added that you do not want to trade away or just cancel the trade if you’re uncomfortable or not sure.

The most important guideline is DON’T HIT THAT CHECKMARK until you are positive that you want to proceed with the trade AS IS. It is not a way to determine the fairness of the trade, it is how you complete the trade as is. In determining fairness, the green bars only work with items purchased in the Shops.

You can see in this picture that the person on the right side of the trade has green bars, that means they have to add to the trade to balance the ’scale’.

They’re getting closer in the next pic but the shirt on the left is more expensive then the shirt on the right so even with 100 bear bills added to the shirt on the right, the person on the right needs to add more bear bills or an item of equal value.

More bear bills or a more expensive shirt bought in Pawlette’s Coufur should be added to this trade until the values are equal.

The gifts received at events (red Bearemy shirt, pawlette tshirt, valentine shirt, santa hat, maxine slippers and hat, heart table) have NO VALUE according to the green bars. Even when the person on the left is only adding 10 bear bills to the trade in the next pic, the green bars are indicating that the person on the right, who has contributed the Highly Valued bear slippers from Maxine, must add to the trade. The Furry Friend Exclusive Items (FEI’s), obtained when bringing your Furry Friend to life online, also do not have any value per the green bars however they are HIGHLY VALUED in Build-A-Bearville!

If you elect to not receive the prize you have won by shipment, which requires a name and address of parent or member over 18, I will pm the animal ID and Key Code to you here on this forum for 1) Hello Kitty or 2) any bear you choose, and name, with the $25 gift card. I will purchase the bear for you, name it for you, provide the codes and bear boutique receipt code and donate the bear itself to our local Children’s hospital.

Contest rules follow:

1. Posts in the Trading Post do not count towards the 50 posts.
2. The ‘helpful’ posts must contribute to the forum community and have useful content or conversation.
3. Once you reach 50 posts add your name to this thread and your posts will be reviewed.
4. If eligible they will be marked ‘eligible’ by a moderator or myself. If more content is required you will receive a pm notification so that you have the opportunity to post more.

When you find the 5th and final gem in the Jungle Ruins quest return to the Leopard in the University. Click the Leopard and he’ll ask if you want to start an Animal Adventure. Select yes and you will be returned to the Marvelous Monkey. Be sure and have the same Furry Friend with you that you had when you started the quest! This time all the gems will be restored to the Great Stone Bear and her Stone Totems.

• Enter the Cave at the arrow at the top of the screen (near Monkey’s head in the pic):

•  You are now inside the Cave of Wonders.

•  Lead your Furry Friend through the maze to the left and up by clicking in front so you’ll follow!  At the top left of the cave you will find the first stone to step on.

•  Continue through the maze then step on the second stone. 

•  Continue forward through the maze until you reach a fork in the road.  Take a right and travel down.

•  Step on the 3rd stone

•  After stepping on the 3rd stone go back up to where the fork in the road was and continue.  You will pass the closed door before getting to the fourth stone.

•  Step on the fourth stone then you will see the door open and the Leopard appear!

•  Click on the Leopard, after reading his message click complete and you will see your reward!

• Congratulations!!!  Exit the cave at the same arrow where you entered!
• Now you’re ready to get another Build-A-Bear and start all over!!

1. Skate Park – Fast Paw (scroll shows up usually before or at the 3rd level on the park bench) Clue: ‘You will have to juggle a soccer ball to find the first’
2. Skate Park – Furbulous Fliers.  Clue: ‘the second hieroglyph can only be found if you have good aim with flying discs’
3. Paw Park – Dive Beary Deep (the scroll is at the very end of level 1 – swim through the green bear heads to speed up and avoid the electric eel, stay away from the red bear heads, they slow you down). Clue: ‘you may have to swim underwater to find the third hieroglyph’  GLITCH - the scroll is not showing up for many people!
4. Coffee Shop of the Furbulous Fashion District – Pawsome Painting (color some and the scroll shows up in the bottom left corner, click on it)  Clue: ‘the fourth hieroglyph is hidden in a beary colorful place’
5. Friendship Forest Meadow – Photo Safari – keep playing games until you see the scroll on the big rock, be sure and finish the game with all 12 pictures. Clue: ‘You may have to be quick with a camera to find the fifth hieroglyph’
   
6. Libeary at Bear University – Bears and Pairs (scroll shows up under an item in the second row from the bottom) Clue: The sixth hieroglyph may appear as a pair of shapes, beary close to where you first met Leopard.
7. Classroom at Bear University – Furbulous Shapes
8. Build-A-BearWorkshop in Town Square – Run for the Stuffing Clue:  To find the last hieroglyph, you’ll have to Run fast and catch a lot of Stuff’

To find out where you are in your Quest :

1. Go back to the Libeary, select yes, select the Quest you’re on (you’re only option) then it will take you to the Quest host, for Ancient Ruins this would be Purrincess Kitty in the Great Pyramid.
2. Even easier option:Click on your PDA, the Exclamation Point (!) will tell you where you’re at in your Quest! This was helpful when I wanted to see how many bear heads I found instead of returning to Bearemy too! (NOTE: There is an option to Quit Quest here also, I had to quit the Ancient Ruins Quest – it seems that there’s a glitch when you get the scrolls out of order – this glitch has since been fixed with Beta 2.10,  hmmm or was it?)

Summer Camp Happy Heart is open for registration! Be sure and visit the Friendship Forest Park today! Click on the USA Spirit Bear or the Canada Spirit Bear to be on one of four teams! Update:  Camp Happy Heart Ends June 30th!!

• Teams are randomly assigned!

There are four teams! Each team has a different color tee shirt and yours will land in your My Stuff backpack as soon as you register! The four teams are:

1. Groovy Green Team
2. Yummy Yellow Team
3. Rockn’ Red Team
4. Beary Blue Team

1. Dive Beary Deep. Clue: ‘You will find this gem underwater.’
2. Bear – 2 – Bear Racing – You have to win to get the gem. Clue: ‘In the midst of very fast moving objects. Race to find this gem’
3. Bobbing Fur Apples – Level 1 of the game now (previously on level 3), click the gem it’s off in a corner out of the bucket. Clue: ‘Surrounded by yummy red fruit’
4. Bear Hugs – Level 1 of the game now (previously on level 3), click the gem in the middle, partially covered by a cloud. Clue: ‘This gem will float in the clouds with many bears’
5. Bear – 2- Bear Baseball – You or your opponent have to hit a homerun, or reach a certain score. Clue: ‘Gem is rumored to be located in the shape of a diamond’
